Rawns Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 (edited) A L4D2 thread with no reply?! Blasphemy! I played the demo and pre ordered because it was brill! Now the games out, the initial server quality is iffy at best due to volumes. A fair bit of lag and it seems when I launch a lobby and look for a "official" server, there are never any so I have to host locally. But I still looooove it! I don't like the way people say "it should be DLC for L4D" because there is way too much new stuff for it to be DLC. 5 new campaigns, loads of new weapons, better gore, more special infected etc etc! It is a squeal and I love it! Plus it's a lot harder too. Spent 2 hours playing the first campaign on expert and only did the first 2 levels! Rawns <3 L4D2. EDIT: Chainsaw FTW!!!!!! Mako Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 and hes over 18 right? Hehe, my 9th birthday, 1997... my mum bought me Dungeon Keeper and Grand Theft Auto for the PC. And they say that games have an impact on kids... I was 9 and running people over, robbing banks and stealing cars... look at me now! Good times, though... good times. On topic - L4D2 I was disappointed with. Just felt like a re-hash of the first game, which I quickly got bored with, with extra slashy, bashy and cutty weapons and freakier zombies. I got my kick out of the demo and that's it, personally didn't feel it was worth the money for what you get. But hey, don't let me put a downer on the thread

In one swing he killed all the zombies in front of him and all of us stood near him as we were all low on health. Vote kick

Chainsaw is awesome Played the 1st campaign last night on expert online. Took 1 hr 30 mins to do! Loved every second though!!!

Chris_Jones Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Pre-ordered, and (when I get a chance) playing online - also loving it, especially playing the new infected in versus, difficult to get the hang of the charger though - most of the time I end up charging right past the survivors and into a wall also, PEO as far as I am aware there isnt going to be a PS3 version - Im pretty sure Gabe Newall (head of valve) has said they dont like developing for the PS3, and wouldnt be doing any more games for it.

Unlikely that it will be out at all as the original Left 4 Dead is not even out on PS3 yet. You could always buy your little bro an XBox 360
