Thanks all. T'is great to be able to finally understand what all you fathers have known for so long. There really is nothing on earth or in life quite like it...

Mothers think so too!!

How big was he?

Congratulations!!:)

Oops, details.....

- 7lb 1oz

- 5 days early

All good and as for the jaundice it's basically the immature liver unable to filter out the excess blood. Ideally you want the baby to be exposed to daylight so you end up with a UV lamp over the baby. Our fella looked like a beach bum throughout.

EDIT: Realised I read dhicks post wrong... (small screen, tired eyes, silliness - all good excuses).. Anyhoo... I'll adjust the CRT balance doohickery toute suite and get him back in focus then ;)

Anyhoo. Praying for a release in the next few days... Fingers crossed

May I say, on behalf of all the 'ladies' - and everyone else actually...

'Ahhhhhhh'

SO cute! (the baby, not you or the cat)

I'd be upset but you're right, he's as cute as button, although Charlie (the cat) has quite a few elements of cuteness about him too... me? I'm ageing at a phenomenal rate!

Thanks tho :)
