Already been on torrent sites. Grr, why do staff insist on using 15 year old software?

timzim Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 I think it came bundled with the Vinyl Cutter. If you've got an old version you can get updates from the Roland site.

iceman85 Posted November 29, 2012 Posted November 29, 2012 Is anybody else having trouble with importing pictures in to stika? It is supposed to support bitmap but I am getting unrecognised file format when I try. It is made for windows 95 and I have it running on windows 7 though...

StikaCut Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 How did you get it to run under Win 7? When I tried to run setup, I got a wrong OS message. Egenius Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 Hello ^^ i found an old Stika scp-85g. Thx for sharing these ultra old softwares it seems to work in windows 7 but unfortunately i'm still looking for the drivers of this cutter I have a usb to rs232 dongle with FTDI chipset ... I hope i will find a solution... Have a nice day
Arthur Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 Every figure it out? The drivers or the application? 😕 Side note: It's a bit disappointing to see there have been over 144 downloads of my repackaged Dr Stika installer for Windows 7+ and only one person (@Egenius) bothered to say thanks. 😢 2
Arthur Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 We all love you though Thanks @3s-gtech. That's very kind. [emoji846]
sjlane60 Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 Every figure it out? I just went to re establish the use of my SX 15 it has a Parallel interface & Dr Stika won't work with Win10 - I purchased a USB to // interface from a local e'nics store & approached the Local Roland Distributer they sent me a dropbox link to CutStudio (normally not downloadable) & links to the Japanese/English Drivers site I ended up installing the version 1.3 Win 10 drivers for the SV15 ( I needed to disable driver signing) & I got the Illustrator CC plugin from Adobe & the Parrallel SX15 now works on a upto date Win10 system - it took a little bit of a fiddle in that I installed it as a parallel printer 1st then changed its printer port in properties to the USB port occupied by the adaptor. I have assumed that Roland don't want to globally make CutStudio available but they freely responded with the Dropbox link when I asked for help via the web help page on the local Roland Distro site - I'm in Australia for reference I hope that helps Regards Stephen
Henkka Posted July 14, 2019 Posted July 14, 2019 Hi! I saw your great message about Roland SX with win10. After 10 years I found my (SX12) cutter from garage and I'd like to use it now. I tried to find CutStudio free or cheap but they want 160AUD to sell it to me. Do I really need that software? Is it possible to print straight from Adobe illustrator fe.? Today I'll go to buy parallel to usb cable... I hope you can help me Cheers from Finland! Henkka
