cookie_monster Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 We've been having a few issues with password length since starting to use SSL login with Smoothwall, if a student has a password longer than 15 characters login fails without explanation. We have to change their password to one of less than 15 characters, this is a bit of a pain as some of our students use passphrases. Any other Smoothwall users seeing this?

It must be an issue with squid as it happens with Censornet as well.

Let support know who you are and I am sure they'll deal with it for you. 1
