He knows everything and is ALWAYS available to help me - he will even travel from his school to mine in his lunch break (and we are about 7 miles apart) to help. His IT abilities are awesome! He has God-like troubleshooting skills and anything he says about Windows I take as Gospel. Mark's Blog Stephen Fry is quite a famous geek I like but I would stop short of saying he was an idol of mine IT-wise.
Hollie1985 Posted September 8, 2009 Author Posted September 8, 2009 Two people I would like to commend for idol inspiration talent is -Fellow Edu Geek idol member is Alex Pearce for the help and support he has given me and plenty of others on the Microsoft and product side and his work ethic; passion for technology and bringing technology for students to learn and teachers to teach. He also introduced me to EduGeek, Twitter and the world of blogging! -Another inspirational idol is my 5th line Manager David Ricketts he is an idol for his inspiration and leadership capabilities and beats the 4 pre managers hands down. He brings out the best in people with his positive viewpoint and always looking out for the company a good representative and role model. He is key to driving projects forward and motiviating people I have a lot of respect to him for that. As well as Steve Jobs obviously as mentioned previously -and not for his personal life either!!
