apoth0r Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 Hmm that's a shame, would have loved to cash in on that bad boy, would pretty much be total profit. Sell one and you've covered soooo many more *Rubs hands* Awaits a CP cock up
ahuxham Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 There is usually some small print so they wriggle out of such errors As it says on the article, the contract doesn't take affect until the item is in the hands of the buyer. Wonder how that would work, are they legally allowed to hold an item you've bought back and not deliver it?
powdarrmonkey Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 I thought it became a contract when payment was cleared, though perhaps German law is different.

Batman Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 I think it was Dabs or Ebuyer who did something similarly stupid a few years back, I ordered the item (can't even remember what it was) and got a polite email asking if I would be prepared to pay the full price for it. There has to be some provision for mistakes.
featured_spectre Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 In german law the product is not yours until it is in your hands and you have a full reciept after you have paid for it. If the owner gives you the money back before you recieve it and the reciept, there is nothing you can do about it! Just on that sort of scale legal advice is being sought. 1
