I'm developing a learningwall which is going to be used by our students for accessing files and resources.

at the moment I'm really struggling to come up with ideas for the header.

It needs to be fresh, web 2.0 feel, and have the title "LearningWall"

I want to do something funky but I am really strugling to come up with ideas.

Could anyone help me out or make some suggestions?

I would really appreciate it

maybe have a look at something like the adobe kuler or colourlovers websites for colour ideas and maybe a non stock font so it looks a tad more interesting.

We might be able to offer more of a idea if we know what it was going into, could we perhaps see a screenshot of this "learning wall"?

If you are intrested in using the buttons I have them all in psd format I could send via msn messenger

I just need to tidy some of them up and sort out the text reflection on most

I'm off down london now, but i'll try and grab you on msn at somepoint mate

The 'Learning Wall' text kind of gets lost against that background - could you increase the contrast between the two to make it more readable?

Good work otherwise :)

Not wanting to pick faults as I like what you and Sysman have done - but how about a spraycan rather than the pencil on top of the wall overlay?

Can you not also get a free graffiti font? Although what you have is waaay better than what i could do, i just think that the font you have along with the crayon seems a little child-like, especially for the year 7 to 9.

I will look into this tomorrow. The icon background has now been made transparent - looks alot better now.
