We are reviewing our Staff AUP and the HT wants a "Facebook clause" in it... something along the lines of 'Your knuckles will be rapped if you misbehave on social networking sites'

Does anyone have examples of this type of clause in their AUP that they would share please?

Thinking about it, a version of this probably ought to be in the student AUP too!

I think AngryTechnician's code of conduct is the way to go. As has been discussed, you can't really put it in an AUP, particularly if they cannot access such sites in school. I am going to copy his post to the head as I think it makes some very valid points

May be an idea not to mention a specific site such as facebook but put in a generic sentence such as;

· Do not bring the School, or members of the school community into disrespect by publishing material on the Internet which is then available for public viewing.
