Tobe123x Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 I am looking for some software that will scan a sectin of an internet webpage, which will be two letters and then enter the 2 letters shown into the text both beneath, cost isnt a worry so it can be free or paid for software, just need to find it? Cheers,
dwhyte85 Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 Sounds like you want code to automatically enter Captcha fields... (the random pictures that pop up on alot of sign up pages). Try googling 'automate captcha entry'. If you're looking to scan actual text on a page, you could modify Head Strong autoclicker and use a Auto-It script/send keys to do the entry. Either way... not sure I like what you'd be using it for...

Yes Captcha entry is what im looking for, ive tried to search on google for programs to enter the captcha for me, but i cant find any, does anyone have any ideas?
powdarrmonkey Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 ...and you want to pretend to be human for what purpose, exactly? 2
dwhyte85 Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 Exactly, they exist on certain forums which I won't mention, mainly coded in Delphi & VB6... I've only ever known it to be used to bombard forums with accts or create multiple e-mail accounts!
Tobe123x Posted May 29, 2009 Author Posted May 29, 2009 so i dont have to enter the code every 15 minutes when it pops up? in other words so i dont have to sit behind my computer whilst its running the tool and i can do other things?
powdarrmonkey Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 Yep, sounds like poker to me. Our collective skills are so wasted...
Tobe123x Posted May 29, 2009 Author Posted May 29, 2009 its actual to get round a anti scripting code on a basic text based game, as i cant be bothered to keep typing in the codes.
localzuk Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 its actual to get round a anti scripting code on a basic text based game, as i cant be bothered to keep typing in the codes. Err... anti-scripting code is there to prevent you using scripts
Tobe123x Posted May 29, 2009 Author Posted May 29, 2009 Err... anti-scripting code is there to prevent you using scripts Yeah i know thats the whole point but i want to get around it lool.
localzuk Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 Yeah i know thats the whole point but i want to get around it lool. You're asking in the wrong place... This is a professional it forum.
dwhyte85 Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 There are plenty around you need to google it, we cant tell you these things if anything we'd try to prevent this, i know i would if i had any captcha implemented!
EduTech Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 I dont see any positive reason to as why you would want such thing!, and to be honest you came to the wrong place to get any help. Google if you so wish, but the only reason i can see you would want something like this and thats to do naughty things. so you have no chance at getting any help here. James.
RabbieBurns Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 can i just ask how a script would be of any use in online poker?
dwhyte85 Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 If the script used the technology to analyse a graphic it could hook onto Party Poker pop ups, Party Poker gives a pop up now after a random amount of time... certain people who use auotmated bots (lots around) can't automate it without this as they'd need to manually enter.
RabbieBurns Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 but still. what do the scripts do? play the game for you or something?
dwhyte85 Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 programs can do that, the script he is after will just enter captcha, they would combine it with something like Hold'em calculator and pretty much have an automated game of poker.
mossj Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 ...that only bets hands that have a greater possiblity of winning. TBH I've heard its quite profitable to do it yourself as sort of a part-time job. (I know my uni friends used to do it)
Hacksawbob Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 I could write you a script, I'm sure there are a few here who could, we could have some real fun at your expense.Learn some basic code, go to autoit and down load it and have a play , you might actually prefer it to wasting your time playing "online text based games", lets face it is not to dissimilar from coding. All the help files are there to get you started.
john Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 I think that we will lock this thread to stop it turning into a war
