I was actually doing something with the IT manager of the school next door. I unlocked his PC, opened ProCurve manager, and then realised I couldn't remember his password (the one I'd used 2 seconds earlier to unlock the PC.)

 

The same chap not only forgets his administrator password, he also forgets how to spell administrator.

Actually the keypad lock on our office throws me. I can always get in because I know where my fingers go, but I was asked by the deputy head and I couldn't tell her the number.

Must admit that one place I worked had about 20 different code locks, each changed termly (if they were not deemed to have been breached majorly before then) and trying to remember them was not fun Thank heavens for slips of paper Had about 30 passwords, 20 sets of code and pins in my head at the most I think. Now life is easier,a few code locks, few passwords and then tags for alarms much easier
