Gatt Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 Its amke or break time at the school today - HMI/OFSTED are in today and tomorrow - and its the big one So far i've cleaned 3 air filters, replaced 6 mice, rebooted the file server 3 times since 0800!! (Due to a roaming profile of 1.19GB!!) Things currently stable but no doubt someone will find some minor fault and raise it as critical!!

Gatt Posted June 27, 2006 Author Posted June 27, 2006 No they don't - we werent even blaming the guy outright just advising him that the size of the RP was not helping, but cos of all the updates and kids logging in at the same time, the FS was overloaded.. Oh well - i dont care TBH

Sylv3r Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 Sorry to hear about alll your problems Gatt, we had OFSTED in about a month ago and have had server crashes before and after the event but thankfully not during. In fact the 2 days they were in have been up to now the quietest days this year, although being in school the weekend before and up to 7:00PM on the monday and tuesday might of been the reason it was quiet. Hope things go better for day two's visit.
pete Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 yup, we were inspected a couple of months ago and despite initial fretting it was brilliant. We got a good report and while teachers were busy worrying about Ofsted, we had peace and quiet and got work done
