The Microsoft Scriptomatic tool will write scripts for you to get this (and much, much more info) If you're interested in scripting then this is a really good way to get a start with some useful sample scripts. 1

This information must not have been programmed in by your supplier, you can in most cases however write this information in yourself for each device to make it easier to do asset checking and computer specific installs. Check out my edugeek blog posting on doing this: The DMI Discontinuity and the Perils of Brand X Computing Edit, just re reas and understood propperly, try looking under the bios section of these tools as this can often contain information about the specific board which is very rarely tampered with by the OEM. The reason being is that the casing is in, from evasham is small not suitable for expansion cards upgrades and uses small power supplies(which has blown) and the LED lights, because evasham instead havin each led clip they have big clip custom put in. So it be a pain and drivers, and that I need to transfer the motherboard to a bigger casing so it can have PCI cards.
