I started losing interest too...

 

I'm not a million years old either though, so no, I haven't a clue what he got out...

 

It does seem a much easier way to measure the speed of sound instead of banging two pans together and timing the difference in time vs sound.

Anyone who has not read this book then I advise you do - It's utterly brilliant - I keep hampering on about it to my mates - all 3 of them....

God knows how I missed this when it first came out - I must have been sick or something...
