The new figure is 95,574/108million ~ 0.08849% however, you can't keep using a number like 108million and be as specific as 95,574 for the numerator. What is the rate of growth in the number of websites worldwide? All those proxies i get emailed about daily (I'm on the lists for prevention of course! ) must add to the total quite significantly. That would put us up even higher The 108 million is an answer that Google threw up when I investigated the total amount of websites in the world, and is an approximate number. The Alexa number is a pretty definitive mark of our position on the internet. It is by no 100% accurate, but we can't really argue

Dos_Box Posted February 18, 2009 Author Posted February 18, 2009 Ah! Yeah. Google analytics filters out search engine traffic IIRC. So it appears that more is coming from the US than is actually the case.
