Not sure to be honest, what I might do is pre-mix it with Coke.

Even though it's almost impossible to get it in proportion in large quantities.

well the keg could double up as seat, and lovely stale rum and coke, you would be better off keeping coke fresh and just bottling rum separate.

Or between now and download I could go to spain, where they actually sell rum in plastic bottles.

 

I guess it saves on cost, and then also saves on weight which leads to lighter loads so less fuel to transport it?

 

Or I could bury the glass bottle in the middle of my pack between boxers and dreadwax =P

News just in that all camping tickets for Download Festival 2009 have now officially SOLD OUT.

 

This includes all RIP Park Farm packages, including Tipis and Shacks. Please note all combined coach travel & camping tickets have also now sold out.

 

There are a LIMITED number of the RIP "Platinum" hotel packages stll available, book now!

Red Bull Bedroom Jam

It started in the bedroom, but the neighbours complained, so for the summer Red Bull have had to find a temporary new home for all the sh*t hot bands that they have been working with since it all kicked off in 2007, and hell, the only place they felt that would really fit the bill in June was the UK’s number 1 rock fest!

 

That’s right ladies and gentlemen, the chaps at Red Bull Bedroom Jam will be hosting their own stage at Download 2009! They're going to be bringing you a selection of Red Bull Bedroom Jam favourites including (but by no means limited to!) My Passion, The Auteur, Dissolved In and None The Less along with a host of other friends to keep your ears bleeding…

 

Playing the Red Bull Bedroom Jam arena across 3 days will be a host of the best hard rock bands from all seasons with headline slots from firm favourites My Passion, Dissolved In and None The Less…but there is one space still to be filled for one very lucky new band.

 

For the first time ever an unknown band will get to play the main stage in a live broadcast from their Bedroom. This world first will see the virtual gig beamed to thousands of rockers ahead of the performance from Marilyn Manson.

 

If you’ve got the talent, are under 19 years old and are building your fanbase then your upload could get you to Download. Here’s how, in 3 easy steps: -

 

1. Upload your video to Home | Red Bull Bedroom Jam. Don’t worry about the quality, a mobile phone vid of you playing in your bedroom will do…it’s the talent that counts (a good tip would be to check out Don Broco’s video on the homepage!)

 

2. Get your fans to log on and watch and rate your vid…

 

3. The most popular artists get selected for a live-streamed performance…on broadcast day, the Red Bull Bedroom Jam crew collect the musicians and selected mates and fans, and the winners rock out in front of the camera!

 

For this one off special, videos will have to be uploaded by Friday 5th of June…The winners will then be informed on Monday 8th, so, get your vid uploaded and your fans a’ voting…

atleast that's what I got from reading that.

the poster from the site makes it look like the red bull stage is actual stage

I haven't checked out the poster yet, might go look now.

Although reading the whole writen bit, they're taking red bull crew round.. doesn't say about picking them up, and it says alot about videos? I know the videos are how you enter, but I dunno.

I'm going to pick the best stage of the day, and just stay there all day.

 

At the moment it's Friday Main stage, Saturday Second Stage, and Friday Main Stage.

 

But not sure I would want to see Prodigy for that long, and I'm not sure I would want to miss Shinedown.

 

Still not sure about that new stage, not sure whats happening there.

We are the Ocean are playing on it, saw them in the local and they're weren't half bad.

 

Guess we'll find out when we get there!
