  1. Thank you mate, Much appreciated.
  2. Hi bud, It's not that that's the issue, obviously for privacy we don't request users passwords, but I believe if I set up the connection as one user, the settings do not transfer to all users. So even though we have the connection ovpn file saved and easily accessible, it would mean the user having to re import that ovpn file when logged on as themselves, as settings from one user do not carry over to every user. Hope that makes sense. If there was a folder locally where you could automatically import these settings/files, it would negate having to use a how to guide and take out the middle man and having to rely on my users (who aren't that tech savvy) to set up there VPN connections. Thanks for the reply.
  3. Hi everyone, I know a fair few people are probably using the Smoothwall VPN Service and Software provided by Smoothwall. Is there anyway to push out configurations for all users on certain devices, ideally I want to set the VPN up for multiple users, but I don't want the user to have to do anything config related for obvious reasons. Is there a default folder that you can use to import all your connection details and certificates etc? Other than that it all works hunky dorey. TIA
  4. Wouldn't mind a PM too, with firmware, if that's OK.
  5. Hi, Does anybody know the reqs to get onto the Meru MC1500? I've tried loads of different combinations of OS/Java, can't find any information related to it on the net. I can't get half of the pages the load using the web interface, all the reporting and all that loads, just when you click settings I just get a blank page. If anyone has any more information on how to get it to work, I'd be extremely grateful. Seems to be trying to load cgi/XML pages when clicking the links. Thank you.
  6. I've seen PDQ Deploy being used quite frequently by support companies. Never tried it though and the GUI looks crap for the free version.
  7. Dear all, Does anybody know of a place that'll do C Touch repairs in the UK? I've been to C Touch regarding a broken USB port on one of their boards. They thought 900 pound was a plausible price to pay for that sort of thing. If anybody knows of anywhere that would re solder a new connection to the board for less than the price of a brand new 4k TV, can you please let me know either in this thread or through a direct message please. Any help or advice would be massively appreciated, Ta.
  8. Whoops, sorry. Just seen the date.
  9. DPM is very good for backing up MS applications. Just depends whether you have enough budget I suppose. I presume it's MS SQL?
  10. Hi all, I've seen this done before, but not sure how it was done. So I know it can be done, how do you add multiple domains into Solus 3 Deployment UI? So when selecting what machine to install agents on, click change domain in the top right hand corner and all your domains are in the list. I'm sure I'm just being thick and have missed an option somewhere, but if anyone could point me in the right direction, I would be eternally grateful. Thanks.
  11. Well I know why, but that's a different story. Anyway, to Meldrew, they've recommended we update the MyPortal Software. I'll let you know if it improves anything, thanks for the advice.
  12. Our head won't entertain Cloud Products ...Even though we already have them.
  13. It's as you said mate, logging in takes 5-10 seconds, every page is 2-5 seconds maybe. Reports are probably the worst though, seems to be the longest to load. PSF obviously point to our Servers not being able to cope, strange how we have no issues with any other 3rd party Web Based Software.
  14. Hi, I know many of you working in Education will have PSFinancials and are probably using the cloud hosted solution, we host PSF on site and having a few issues with the Portal side of things buffering constantly for about 5-10 seconds. I was just wondering if you guys using the cloud have had similar issues in the past? I'm not the greatest person with IIS so don't even know where to start really in trying to get this problem resolved. Any advice on IIS performance improvements or ways to speed the PSF system up when using the MyPortal side of things would be appreciated. Can't be an issue with the Servers, we're running it on it's own SQL Server with 16gbRam and using 8 virtual processors. In total there are 5-15 users using it at one time. We run the Sentinel system on a different server, that just handles all the emailing and things. Thanks guys.
  15. OK excellent. Thanks for the information TT
