--- Cisco Catalyst 2950 switches ----

I have received a batch of working Cisco 2950 switches. I thought this was great until in tried to use them as standard switches.

 

The problem is that there are config files and passwords on them that I need to remove. Is there a flash or reset that does this or have I to type in ridiculous amounts of code in hyper terminal ?

Forgotten 2950 password.

Have you got the cable? If not try ebay. You should be able to get one pretty cheap.

Reset passwords and deleted config files, all seems good.

One has really loud fan. Anyone replaced one of these?
