contink Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 ... or is everyone in something of a mischievous mood today? I'm feeling rather giddy and keep feeling like a teacher is going to have me stand in the corner any second ... which is a bit odd as I'm home in the office. Hmm. Maybe I should eat something..
Sirbendy Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 I always am...I've whipped one teacher today for asking inane questions. Rubber band guns are loaded and ready on my and NMs desk... Bring the horde on..
Little-Miss Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 lol! I have been since monday. Unfortunately no one else seems to be here, they just giving me work to do and asking me stupid questions!
powdarrmonkey Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Evidently IT staff aren't affected by black Monday then.
DrPerceptron Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Maybe we are, just not in the traditional way I'm always feeling mischievious everyday, and I'm a walking ball of energy Isn't it about time for a Black Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday?
Sirbendy Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 got the NM last week...heard him say on the phone "I'll call you back after I've got lunch"..I had to do it... "Just nipping to sort out something in art...quick job".. Off I go, to the kitchen. Screwdriver out, fuse out of the microwave, plug back in, walk away to get a drink.. In comes NM..into kitchen.."clunk, rustle, clunk, "eh?" "WHAT??" "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!" It's BROKEN!! AARGH!!" you have to sometimes.. I did offer him the fuse and screwdriver after though, despite what he called me.. Day after that we were both in the disabled loo in the staff room, using the hand drier to soften the glue on a smashed IPhone screen...cue "gently now, gently..get it in..watch your eyes, now..lever it..careful...hmm, more heat needed..ahhh...steady, careful..oh toss, it split..ah balls, time for a tea break.."..and out we both walk..boy did we get some funny looks...

You sir are an evil, evil man... Love it! ROFLMAO... As for Black Monday... which one? There's been so many that I've lost count... All I know is that my sideline in Epson waste ink kits has taken off like a rocket and I'm effectively doing two full time jobs with a few other side-lines thrown in... Come to think of it... No blinking wonder I'm giddy.. I'm losing the plot!

dhicks Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 I'm rather jolly today for some reason. It's the inauguration, silly - by tomorrow, Barack Obama will be president of the United States. We'll all wake up in the morning in a new, fresh, exciting and peaceful world - the sun will shine, fluffy bunnies will wave at you on your way to work, Israel and Palestine will make up, people will quit shooting at each other in Iraq and Bill Gates will install Ubuntu on his home PC. Ah, bliss. -- David Hicks
localzuk Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Lol, people do seem to be acting that way don't they? But it's the start of something potentially good for the world, so people are happy for that.
