ICT Technician

ICT Technician required with proven experience in Education ICT support (ideally within Primary Schools) in the west London borough, Fluent with Windows Server 2003, XP and clean driving license.

 

You will provide technical support in line with the school’s ICT support service, work with the school’s leadership team to deliver a safe, effective ICT resource for use by pupils and staff. Install and maintain standard network cabling; perform basic diagnostic and recovery routines, install software on the file server, maintain hardware and software servers, set disk space and printer quotas, create network shares and manage, design and implement network infrastructure to meet the school's requirements.

(CC3, MS Exchange, Blade, WAN, Windows 2000 & 2003 server Novell, LAN’s, WAN’s, hub’s, switches, routers, SIMS and MS Applications)

 

Salaries 20,000 to 28,000 based on experience

sounds more like a network manager what with exchange and blade etc unless your very experienced or something (shrugs)

blade is great but by no means necessary, exchange likewise

 

the wide salary range is designed to attract a wide range of candidates, the last person i placed with this firm started somewhere in the middle and was not a network manager
