Must be getting old or past it but it don't feel very festive. Mrs.T_G is at work (as usual) until 9am Xmas Day and so that's our day stuffed as she'll be wanting to get to bed all day for some sleep.

To cap it all we're going to my parents for Christmas Lunch and they've only gone and invited a deranged great aunt, a neighbour who's just retired as a teacher, and another family friend who is transgendered....

Seriously, I kid you not.

Minced pie, anyone?

i dont think your the only one mate, allot of people have been saying this year dont feel like christmas either.

:( my mum has work all day today/tomorrow how ever you want to look at it aswell, we're going to my grand parents for christmas lunch.. like usual.. but apart from that its just going to be me on my own at home.. and she'll be working!.. i have to sit here all day waiting to open all my presents! :p

but i do agree it dont feel very xmassy this year..

Strange... I wasn't feeling overly Christmassy but Mum dragged me, my sis and wife off to Chrimbo Carols in Canterbury, out in the street and the spirit of the event soon overcame any Grinch like proclivities I was feeling.

The fact that our grandfather summarily dismissed us so he could go eat dinner and then get back to his room, when we visited him in the care home just added to it.. Christmas as normal then :D

I'm not in the mood either but have to be jolly I guess. Off to a party tonight; I'd rather be sat in front of the television with the fire on. :D

Must admit, no crimby spirit this year tbh, plus its been a crappy few days so not really in the mood, i'd go as far as saying I'd actually rather be in work! and thats scary!

Had a lousy Christmas this year. I haven't been able to speak to my daughter as her mother hasn't been answering her phone and to cap it all a friend of mine was killed by a drunk driver on his was home from work last night.

Well sorry to sound off but I have had a cracking time today - first time we have spent it at home all day so it was nice to see my two boys playing with their new toys and watching them enjoy Super Mario Kart on the Wii.

I still have a load of Lego and Mechano stuff to build with them tomorrow so will be kept busy there - may pop out for a walk to get a paper in the morning but then it's off to have lunch at the outlaws.....
