kearton Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 I love House. Numb3rs was good. I'm *really* looking forward to the next season of Californication... I've got a load of Fringe episodes Sky+'d - only seen the pilot so far. Just this ONE scene was enough to make me look forward to the rest of the series: "Where are the chemicals? I'm going to count to One.... ONE!" I had a mouthful of dinner in my gob at the time I saw this... it nearly ended up on the other side of the room!
witch Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 In no particular order (some current, some not) Top Gear the Gadget Show The IT Crowd Survivors Dr Who Sanctuary Ghost Whisperer Medium Desperate Housewives Scrubs ER House Any Sci-Fi Neighbours (yes, I know, sad) Time Team

mac_shinobi Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 I mostly watch movies there are a few things that I do watch on telly such as the IT crowd ( which after season or series 1 ) went down hill quite a bit. The sarah conner chronicles, watched merlin and that was ok but missed the last few or more episodes after all we all pay for a tv license so might as well get what ya can from it.
RabbieBurns Posted January 12, 2009 Author Posted January 12, 2009 ended up falling asleep and not watching any of the 24's after all that!
RabbieBurns Posted January 12, 2009 Author Posted January 12, 2009 good to see a stereotypical pock faced scar ridden scot playing a baddie in the first episode ;p
stephenleak Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 What TV? I can't afford £100+ for a TV licence on under £1000 a month take home. It's chewing gum for the mind, anyway.
RabbieBurns Posted February 16, 2009 Author Posted February 16, 2009 Last nights Simpsons was broadcast in HD, and theyve changed the starting sequence! Sunday's 'Simpsons' Goes HD, Updates Title Sequence - TVWeek - News Quite a few subtle references to HDTV throughout the episode
somabc Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 They changed the simpsons intro! Has the world turned upside down!? They never change that! Sigh one more part of my childhood gone Have they changed the animation style, it looks more like the simpsons movie now?
mac_shinobi Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 Anything but the IT Crowd!!! songs of praise ? lol
RabbieBurns Posted February 16, 2009 Author Posted February 16, 2009 I didnt really notice anything different in the movie ? Not really still looked the same.
somabc Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 I didnt really notice anything different in the movie ? Not really still looked the same. I don't know I thought the colours were different more pastel'ish, might just be me?
PeterW Posted February 16, 2009 Posted February 16, 2009 I don't know I thought the colours were different more pastel'ish, might just be me? I know what you mean by looking different almost seems semi 3d ish.
RabbieBurns Posted February 16, 2009 Author Posted February 16, 2009 I really hoped we would see the Simpsons Movie at the iMAX in 3D. 3D'ifiing animation is supposedly a lot simpler than footage, so I was disappointed when it never materialised.
