BlueDragon Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 Afternoon Guys, Hello to everyone. I am not a newbie to the forum but have been away for quite a while so hopefully I can get back into the swing of things again. For my first post back I wanted to say hi to everyone and canvass opinion if possible on what education focused articles people are currently reading? Specifically what magazines, news pages, websites (other than edugeek ) etc they find most interesting for education IT related issues and would recommend me reading or subscribing to? I would welcome your suggestions.

GrumbleDook Posted November 5, 2008 Posted November 5, 2008 (edited) Computing & IT Week (easy now it is merged) Information Age Pretty much most of the daily news emails from techtarget daily news from vnunet The Art Of Service about 15 MS blogs (Ray's award winning blog is pretty good for an educational focus) I have let a number of trade mags subscriptions die off now but you get lots of them from InfoSec and the ServiceDesk & IT Support show, but supportworld in a good one from there. The rest of the stuff I pull from blogs, del.icio.us, digg or twitter. We should not forget the information alerts from MS, Apple and CERT advisories. Some of the most important emails I receive! ----edit---- Forgot some of the 'off-the-shelf' mags ... MacWorld, MacUser, MacFormat, iCreate and occasionally .NET I used to get FYI but l pick everything from the TechNet Flash emails instead now. Edited November 5, 2008 by GrumbleDook Forgot some
