Filterless Projector

We are currently looking at installing a projector in the hall - the ceiling is very high and I am concerned about the filters as even the site manager has no equipment to get up there. I have heard about filterless projectors and wondered if anyone can tell me more about them? We need about a 2600 strength I would have thought

I've seen a few self cleaning projectors on the projector point website, also DLP projectors have no filters.

The other alternative is to have it mounted on some sort of rig that allows it to be lowered for maintenance.

I'm not sure they all are, but the d..arned awful HP things we've got are filter free. This is down to the optical path being sealed (as I understand it)

Just been quoted for a TI InFocus IN3102 - 3000 ANSI Lumens - XGA Resolution Filterless Projector

Looks really good -and not as much more expensive as I first thought
