Guest blacksheep Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 (edited) awesome how they done that, looks like its mostly in javascript too! workbench even drops down if you click on the top and you can even type commands in the cli window just like it used to be. tom_newton Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 Used to have a great PD house locally, 17-bit software - anyone remember them? Little room above a shop down a side street, bank of A500s copying disks. The games company they begat (Team17) are still going, one of my old housemates is a lead designer. Working on a console verion of Alien Breed which will be a top-down shooter like the original! Think its gonna be xbox download sorta game.
riedquat Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 Oh yes, I well remember 17-bit PD and Team 17 (for a short period Team 7 when Full Contact was released). Hours of fun was had playing Worms. In fact you can obtain disk images for their games for use on UAE from the Dream17 fansite
