Oops_my_bad Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Yes I know this comes up from time to time, but I'm after a decent company (preferably north west area) who can supply+fit 1 or 2 IPCCTV cameras in a computer room. I know about ADT and their ilk but I think they will be too expensive for this job. I'd do it myself but just dont have the time Any suggestions?
use-IP Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Anybody could fit a couple of these indoor network cameras for you. Or vandal resistant cameras if you need them. Both come with free cctv software. Just ask your preferred local electrician to run the wires and any mini-trunking or other containment you may need. Whoever you use for the install you'll still need to do the network config, IP addressing and network video recording setup yourself, so - why pay more?!?
User3204 Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Chubb Chubb Fire and Security Although they will try to sell you a whole school system, support, &c. if it's just a few basic cameras, then get a cable company to do it, I've had "issues" with electricians putting in stuff, I don't let them near networking (if I can help it), or air con units.
browsw Posted October 7, 2008 Posted October 7, 2008 Modern Security Solutions: AFIANT Network Video Recorder for Axis, Sony and Mega Pixel IP Network Video Cameras Excellent support.
