Online Asset Management tool?

Not sure if this is the right forum, but here goes!

 

I have been wondering about the possibility to store information about the inventory/assets in the schools I visit on the web.

 

What would be great is some kind of online web app that allows me to login and store data about the PC's we have in school. So that i can keep a record of serial no., PC No, Warrenty Expiry, Software installed etc (the usual), maybe even a photo of the peice of hardware.

 

I think this is so much better then a paper record and it should be updatable quite easily.

 

A Free PHP/MySQL version would be ideal. FREE being the important word!

OCS Inventory is probably better because it comes with an agent that you can run on your machines at startup/login that automatically populates the database with infomation.
