gpjt Posted July 9 Posted July 9 (edited) Is there anyone else experiencing issues where since updating to iOS 26.5.2 Google services are in accessible on a SBB connections? We've done plenty of testing and the device is fine on unfiltered connections and also many other iPads are fine on other iOS versions. The only difference I can spot on the affected devices is the difference is the iOS. TIA MicrosoftTeams-video.mp4 Edited July 9 by gpjt 1

gpjt Posted July 9 Author Posted July 9 (edited) That's right bing or other search engines are working as expected. On the iPad's that are being affected for us i've changed the default search engine to bing for now while trying to get it resolved. Edited July 9 by gpjt 1

We have LGfl's Netsweeper and don't have any problems with that version of iOS.
SchoolsBroadband Posted July 9 Posted July 9 Well I can assure you all we haven't changed anything. Our NOC team are investigating in conjunction with our vendors. At the moment we are recommending customers don't upgrade to that software revision. We have a status update on our portal our customers can follow. Thanks Dave
SchoolsBroadband Posted July 10 Posted July 10 So the issue is that Apple have decided change security settings when using Google. By default we block rather than allow some IP ranges unbeknown or uncategorised to us. It appears Apple are using some new IPs to work with Google. We have figured out what this is and will be allowing the relevant IPs shortly once we've finished with testing which is likely today or early Monday. If other companies netsweeper or security services weren't affected then they will have different security polices to our own. Thanks Dave 1
