Canva For Education

Afternoon lovely people!

 

Has anybody had any luck hearing back from Canva regarding their free for education program? - https://www.canva.com/en_gb/education/

 

I've submitted maybe 3 different applications now, completed an internal DPIA, configured SSO, all in preparation and I've still yet to hear back from them after 2 months or so now..

 

The idea was so that staff and students can use the premium features and one-click login rather than needing to sign up individually, but I'm struggling to get a response!

Yup, it got approved pretty quickly. I think some of the relevant emails hit our filtering and quarantine.

Pretty quick to get ours approved. Maybe give them a poke edu-experts@canva.com ?

Their support is not as quick as you would expect however, 2 months is a bit to much, I would open another case with them just in case that one is stuck somewhere.

Agreed! Thankfully I've had an email back already so hopefully we can resolve quickly.

took ages to get approval but did work in the end... Affinity3 and now Cavalry Studio for free.

That's not a mistake, they acquired "Cavalry Studio" NOT Canva studio

Just wanted to add that Canva were brilliant in getting us set up for an education license with sso . We've got a bit of a complex set up with multiple schools on the same Microsoft tenant. We had a zoom call with their education consultant and they sorted everything out for us. Very helpful and knowledgeable, event on what was needed on the Microsoft side. Excellent. Better support than most of the other companies that we actually pay for!
