Rob_D Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Since Chrome updated to 147.0.7727.102 we've had problems with the Office 365 webapps not loading in Chrome. Is anyone else seeing this? Has anyone found a fix beyond using Edge and hoping a new update will fix it soon?
NegativeKillDeath Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Yes, having issues here with Chrome but not Edge. We are looking in to it as think it might be related to this DigiCert G1 Distrust: TLS Impact in 2026 - HEXSSL However I'd be surprised if Microsoft have been caught out and are still using G1 certs. 1
TheRobins Posted April 16 Posted April 16 Just getting reports of this now our end, effecting teams mainly. I have noticed that Action1 have not yet approved the 102 update, it must be browsers updating themselves. 1
robintech Posted April 16 Posted April 16 There's a Service Health Report now https://admin.cloud.microsoft/?#/servicehealth/:/alerts/MO1281730/undefined More info: Impacted users may experience Microsoft 365 web apps and portals not rendering as expected when accessed via the Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox browsers. This may include: - Missing UI elements such as search bars, pages or the Microsoft 365 admin center failing to load. - An inability to open Excel or PowerPoint files through Microsoft 365 web pages. - Issues accessing apps such as OneDrive and Planner. Other browsers, including Microsoft Edge, appear to be unaffected. As a workaround, impacted users can use the Microsoft Edge browser. Current status: We're suspecting that this issue may be related to a broader industry authentication component change affecting how some browsers validate certain authentication components. We’re working to confirm the relationship and determine the appropriate next steps. Scope of impact: Some users attempting to access Microsoft 365 web-based services via Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox may be impacted. This information may be updated as our investigation continues. Next update by: Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 1:00 PM UTC 2 2
