Hi

I have some Windows 11 laptops that need to go to students homes perminantly.

The are not going to be connected to the main domain in anyway, totally standalone.

I know this is a 1990's type of question, but what filtering products are people using for standalone home laptops ?  I don't need to VPN into my school filter or anything fancy.

I know of Netsweeper, just wondering what everyone else has use in the past.

All I need is a decent filter with a cloud admin/portal, where I can tweak filtering options.

Thanks & sorry for the basic question :)

Thanks

Intune / Defender for endpoint does basic filtering.

Are they staying on your asset list and being given back to you eventually?
If not, get the parents to set up Microsoft Family Safety and let the parents manage it, unless you want to be on the hook for every little alteration forever more

Do school owned or parent owned, anything in between is asking for trouble IMHO

If you are an LGfL school, you might be entitled to HomeProtect. Even if you aren't we can probably quote you for it, it's Netsweeper and you'd get access to manage it etc.

Exa's Surf Protect Quantum+ will filter devices at home. I'm sure @exa_damon could give you more info and pricing.
