  1. Found Aspira Cloud to be very good. https://aspiracloud.com/
  2. I've moved a few schools from SBB to Exa (as an Exa partner). Migrating is probably not as painful as you may imagine Take a copy of your whitelists and firewall rules then we can replicate them, but we'd also use it as a chance to check you're as secure as can be. Equipment going in is dependant on what you've got already. If you've got Virgin or Openreach fibre in place and the right termination equipment, then it's possibly just a change of router (which we'd configure for you in advance) and away you go. None of the schools we switched had any downtime at all. Feel free to drop me a dm if you've any specific queries.
  3. who did you need to contact to get the domain tag for the CSC. I have a school in Staffordshire (now part of a MAT), who can't get control of their domain because it looks like capita managed it years ago under Worcester council but the NS records are CSCDigital. [I'm confused even writing that.]
  4. I know some schools (also bham.sch.uk) who moved their hosting from Entrust to Krystal. Think it's pretty straightforward.
  5. Hi, I assume you've seen the Exa guidance for rolling out via Intune, but just in case you haven't it's near the bottom of this article - Initial SurfProtect Setup | Exa Networks
  6. Exa's Surf Protect Quantum+ will filter devices at home. I'm sure @exa_damon could give you more info and pricing.
  7. What filtering do CoConnect use. Their website says netweeper and smoothwall; not sure how having two works
  8. This was a very clever move by The Key. Arbor's lack of a finance package puts off some schools, but RM Finance will be relaunched as Arbor finance in the summer making them an 'all-in-one' MIS, much like BromCom.
  9. If you want monitoring on the ipads, we can do this via Securus, and it doesn't require a new browser. Drop me a DM if you want to know more.
  10. Kudos to you for calling it!
  11. Hi all, thanks for the useful replies. I did get sent some info from capita support, which hopefully will help others, though the script above seems to be very comprehensive and time saving - cheers @password1234 The issue in this school was fixed when I added the SQL rules below. Still don't understand how it had worked for so long, then suddenly stopped - but such is life.
  12. I've trawled through plenty of posts about sims and it's issues with the firewall but this one has me baffled. If we have the domain firewall turned off, users can login to sims with no issue. Turn the firewall back on and login fails with error "Sims connection failed for login 'user', reason 0" Any ideas what's needed to allow the login to proceed, would be hugely appreciated. tia.
