SIMS Cover 7

Does anyone know how to enable cover 7 in SIMS?

The licence has to be applied - this is supplied by your support unit. The upgrade is part of your entitlement under annual maintenance.

For your information, the patch is called SLA Patch 11824 - SIMS Licence Activator: Cover 7.

No, I work for the Council in Bolton but my team does support SIMS at Hayward school.

 

I went to Thornleigh (left the 6th Form 14 years ago!).

 

Did you know Hayward may become an acadamy?

Don't forget to add your Cover users to the Cover Manager group or they won't get it in their menu.

I had heard the Hayward may become an academy, didn't realise Bolton were running the academys scheme. I had also heard it may be closing, but I suppose that may be because of the academy.

The school I work for in Manchester is becoming an academy in 2010, not sure of the prospects yet but they can't even decide on a site.

 

Is there a Cover Managers group, system manager is just showing Cover here??

Thanks for this, been wondering about it all week after we applied the cover 7 patch I couldn't see it on the menu (not even mine as a systems manager)
