Doge unblocker

Has anyone seen students using "Doge unblocker" proxy bypass sites that manage to get around Smoothwall Cloud Filter - we've had reports of links supplied as part of YouTube videos eg:

We have tested the twelve "new" links mentioned.

 

All of these are classified as "Web Proxies" by Smoothwall.

 

There are hundreds of new such pages every day and YouTube is full of links to them..

 

 

But since Smoothwall looks at the content itself and not just at the domain/URL, everyone who uses the same technology is stopped.

 

It's very rare that someone doesn't get caught by Smoothwall content filters, but it's always good to keep your eyes open and verify for yourself that they're getting blocked.

 

If you find one that isn't being caught, report it directly to Smoothwall, so they can ensure that all other similar sites are blocked as well.

Many folks have tested and are reporting that its being blocked - can you put a support ticket in and we will find out why your system is misbehaving?
