mavhc Posted July 19, 2024 Posted July 19, 2024 2 issues: 1. Azure: A backend cluster management workflow deployed a configuration change causing backend access to be blocked between a subset of Azure Storage clusters and compute resources in the Central US region. This resulted in the compute resources automatically restarting when connectivity was lost to virtual disks. Mitigation has been confirmed for all Azure Storage clusters, the majority of services are now recovered. A small subset of services is still experiencing residual impact. Impacted customers will be continuing to communicate through the Azure service health portal. 2. Crowdstrike: pushed an update to Windows that caused bsod and a boot loop, rollback your server snapshot

rossibIT Posted July 19, 2024 Author Posted July 19, 2024 What issue are you seeing with parentpay? I can log in but not tried a payment this morning. I think this is more from the school side as they can't see if any payments have been made. Ross
CHiLL Posted July 19, 2024 Posted July 19, 2024 Our 3CX hosting provider, PBX Hosting have confirmed that they use Microsoft's SMTP servers to deliver voicemails notifications, which is affected by this outage. We learned about this because parents received absence messages about their child, despite ringing in and leaving a voicemail, only for our attendance staff not to know. 1
Oaktech Posted July 19, 2024 Posted July 19, 2024 Teams is not working properly for us - unable to set up audio calls. Bromcom seems sluggish. Outlook seems slow to send - messages are sitting in client outbox for minutes. BM says Power BI is giving errors for everything before eventually working 3rd of 4th go. Finance are also unable to log into banking to check incoming payments or run BACS.
