Assett Tracking/Management

Could you please let me know what you use for assett management/tracking?

 

We haven't got a big budget but need a solution.

We use SnipeIT. It's free for self-hosted.

Self-hosted GLPI. I absolutely love it for asset management, and am always surprised by how little it gets mentioned on here. Would highly recommend deploying the Windows agent, too.

Another vote for SnipeIT. I have leveraged the API and some shutdown scripts to automatically add\update domain joined Windows devices. Mobile devices (Phones mainly) are a manual process but once you have the bulk imported, its manageable.

SnipeIT, although we're in a situation where we also have to use Parago as the school uses that for everything else.

 

It does mean having to duplicate stuff which I hate, but Parago is so painful to use & we needed a system that actually fit our needs.

 

Parago seems to tick all the boxes for functions schools need, but accomplishes it the most frustrating way possible.
