Have you raised it with Senso?

Hi, Is there a way to password protect the MDT process? I'm sure I have done a set up lake this many moons ago, but I can't remember. ie: when F12 etc is initiated, I want a username and/or password box to pop up to continue the process after authorised credentials are entered. Basically so that students can't initiate a build.

Great of Senso to reach out to their customers to say that 'If you are experiencing this issue, then please add x y and z'. I wish there was way to have a Senso global policy for such things, because if this is the fix, I now have to manually edit 50 policies, one for each site.

Ah, we're seeing issues at schools with v1. I'm wondering if both versions are going through the same processes for SSL/Non SSL inspection.

Thinking about the Senso comments, are you referring to v1 or v2? Cheers

We've been having this issue right across our schools. Have tried clearing the cache, but that only worked for a short time before the issue crept in again. These niggles are the worst, but at least we can pin it to Microsoft 😀

The 2026.4.13.1 resolved this for us We're still likely to move away from Senso, I've had enough of it!

Testing at one school now. Client has been distributed via GPO, and have been getting quite long install times 20-30 mins. Will report it to Senso now.

@SensoCustomerSuccess Unfortunately, with there being no proper migration path/hand on assistance, modules that aren't working, and the stress of jumping out of the frying pan of v1 (Black screen and cursor issues on hundreds of machines across our trust) to v2 (above issues) this has been a complete and utter mess, and very stressful. We are already lining up demos of alternative products.

Exactly! I'm normally very busy, week in, week out, and this has has meant I can no longer keep on top of things in may normal manner, which I'm finding quite stressful.

We've started the migration to v2, and I'm not impressed with a number of things. Firstly, there was no migration tool/assistance from Senso at all. Yes, they plug you into the customer success team but they really don't seem to do much at all. In a large muitli-site setup that we have, with dozens of polies and niche configs for particular sites, this has caused resource issues as we're only a small central team, looking after 25+ schools, so the 'other' work work is still piling up elsewhere. We only took the dive to v2 because we had several hundred devices black screening with a cursor, that was confirmed as being an issues with v1, and would not be fixed. We are now only a few schools in, and there's issues with screen broadcasting and have been told this is being worked on and should be available at some point after Easter. This is a fundamental teaching tools that should have been one of the first modules to be ready to go. We're also getting machines that have been moved to v2 now not connecting to the internet after login. If we stop the Senso service, the internet pings to life. Also, if we reboot the machine and login again, the internet then works. This whole thing has driven me crazy to the point that we will not be renewing Senso again, and will be looking for alternatives later in the year. Even if we have to buy several tools, we will do it as we have lost faith in the product.

Hi, can anyone help. We have 50 devices using managed home screen but we cannot get the microphone to work. On the tablet, if I go to Settings \ Chrome \ Permissions \ Microphone, the default is Don't Allow. I want it to be 'Allow whilst using the app' but I cannot work out where this can be set. I just cannot see that config/permission anywhere in InTune. Can anyone point me in the right direction please? Thanks

Good morning all, We use Salamander Integration Suite via SDS for creating the Teams but have been having various issues with Teams over the last week or two. There seem to be a few glitches with Teams assignments. Some students and staff are getting error messages when trying to open assignments, and - most annoyingly - it is not currently letting you attach files to Teams assignments if those files are stored in the Cloud (either OneDrive or SharePoint). We have also seen assignments set, and then disappear. There is an open support ticket with MS for this and I have asked for it to be escalated, but this doesn't appear to be happening. Has anyone else been having similar issues? Thanks

Hi all, Is it possible to setup Radius to automatically connect domain joined laptops to a particular SSID without requiring a password or username? We just want the devices to connect and the users login as normal. If so, could someone please point me in the right direction it's been driving me nuts for 2 days. Many thanks

Absolutely! That was my advice. However, they don't have the inhouse capacity to to the data dumps/checking either. I have said they need to get a data person in on a fixed term contract to work through it. This is why I'm asking if anyone is aware of any individuals / companies that offer this type of service.

Bromcom don't migrate you, unless it's from SIMS, which they thought we were on, despite telling them numerous times what our MIS is. This is what's caused the this issue. Go live info etc have been sent out and other comms too. They just sent us x38 .csv files and told us to populate them. The guidance and help has been shocking tbh.

Good morning, I'm not going to go into too much detail here, but I was wondering if this great community could point me in the right direction for some help. My friend works for another trust and there's been an issue with the migration process. I'd like to know if there are any professional companies or recommended individuals that could be hired to do the data migration? This will be fore approx 8 primary schools. Not as simple as sort and then copy and paste. I wish it was lol One sheet has 1 staff member per line, the other has multiple lines per staff member as they have their roles split out line by line. ie: MIS Joe Bloggs Eric Wise James Bond HR Joe Bloggs Cleaner Joe Bloggs Midday Supervisor Eric Wise Comedian Eric Wise Chef Eric Wise Bus Driver

Hi, Not sure how to word this, but I have 2 spreadsheets. One is a data dump from our MIS which includes a STAFF ID. The other is a HR data dump, but the STAFF ID is completely different. Is there a formula that can look at the HR sheet, match the first name and surname on both the HR sheet and the MIS sheet, and then copy the STAFF ID on the MIS sheet into a column on the HR sheet? I hope that makes sense? Thanks
