About IRL

  1. Asus BR1100CKA/FKA eMMC/Foresee or Kingston SSDs. It happens on the Lenovo 300/500Ws as well though.
  2. Yes, I was wondering. AutoPilot will not delete devices and I can't add them in either.
  3. Our setting is already on unfortunately.
  4. Equally amongst Lenovo and Asus devices. They're both in Intune with Lightspeed. It is also specific to Windows as it never happens on the Chromebooks.
  5. Yes, currently having this issue since Easter on all student laptops but not staff's. Thought it was Fortinet firewall but could also be Lightspeed as we rolled them out at the same time. Our support company said it was probably an authentication error as student devices are fully cloud and staff will be connected to on prem servers which the authentication is happening through there. Students also have Lightspeed and staff don't. The only fix I have currently is restarting the laptop, waiting for the WiFi to connect and logging in, this fixed it every time. Students have told me that this happens at home as well which could point to Lightspeed being the culprit but I can't verify this. Asus and Lenovo laptops, Edge and Chrome.
  6. Try insights -> hotspot -> guests or /manage/default/insights/hotspot/guests after your server address.
  7. This has now been fixed if you update to the latest version of O365.
  8. We have found this has started this week. PowerPoint 365 2502 (18526.20604). I've told teachers to use extended mode for now and switch back to duplicate when not using PowerPoint.
  9. Can't you keep your ISP router but put it in modem mode, then connect your new router to that?
  10. I think they go into a folder called 'Recordings'.
  11. Students aren't allowed phones here either usually, but we have a couple of diabetics and a few students that get picked up by taxis so I'll charge their phones if needed. They have to be switched off by them in front of us before we'll charge it though as there was an issue with a student using a recording app on their phone when it was confiscated.
  12. It's in the title of the thread.
  13. It's quite resource hungry as well. It's giving our already slow laptops a battering.
