You most likely have contamination in the washer system. Absolute best way is to take the tank out and clean it, but otherwise - flush it through with clean water by taking the pipe off the feed to the washer jets and running it through. Then ensure you keep plenty of fluid in there which can help to inhibit algae growth.

Life goal is to own a Jag at one point, purely to say i own a Jaaaagggg

You'll regret it... 3l diesel - £800 for a cam belt change (I knew that was coming). 10 days later a 1/2 shell went. £4k. Then all the electrics started going west. Rear camera first (no real loss), windows; then driver's door lock, all sorts of other bits.

Totally lost any faith in it. Biggest waste of mony in my life.

This then never just neat water water as it start to grow mould and causes issues. Always just screenwash

I see your Jag and raise you a Land Rover Discovery MKII.

Had it 2 years and in that time it had new suspension airbags, a new suspension air compressor, a new front rad, new (recon gearbox), new front prop, new (recon) cylinder head, a new rear suspension bracket and I'm sure I've missed some stuff out.

I took it out and buried it at a crossroads at midnight.
