Hi all,

Hope you are well.

We are looking at the school PC usage and whether they need all the PCs that they have. Does anyone know of any software or script that can Identify when a PC is being used and often in a day/week and feed back the information?

Thanks

Not as detailed as you appear to need, but we have scripts that save logon/logoff events to a csv. Doesn't seem to be 100% accurate, but gives a very good idea. If you don't get something better, I can post.

Thanks @LeMarchand not meaning to sound ungrateful, does this give time, dates and device name?

If so it would be perfect.

Sure does!

Here's what I use: https://www.edugeek.net/forums/how-do-you-do/232140-logging-student-pc-use.html#post1989783

Other answers in that thread, or the one linked to in that post may be more to your taste.

Brilliant thanks mate.

Active directory keeps a list of last logged on, so this could help. Otherwise Something like Action1 might have what you need. A1 is free for 100 devices.

Ill have a look at this thanks mate.
