Hi All

Anyone having issues with school's broadband

We've just been offline for 40 mins couldn't get to support line the line asked us to leave a message

This is the second time this year already and support are not responding well at all

Our SLT are very unimpressed and want us back on BT and Smoothwall.

Anyone else been having similar Issues?

I think we are OK as regards the broadband service is concerned. The lack of opening of support tickets in a timely manner continues to be an issue though.

Hi folks. We had one of our many hosted FortiGates go into conserve mode due to what appears to be a bug in the OS. We had to manually force the failover to another device and reboot the affected unit. The FortiGates are normally pretty stable with many of them running for years with no issues.

Please see the status portal case 1052.

Some of the original hosted FortiGates are due for a hardware upgrade in the next 12 months to allow for greater throughputs. This is likely to be a combination of F series and also the new G series once that virtualised box is available (q4 I'm being told for the later).

Thanks

Dave

VPN seems to be down for us, any confirmation from others?

Internal DC up ok, tested on two laptops via external connections via different accounts

Fails at 10%

From Fortinet forums

Description - This article indicates that if SSL VPN fails at 10% that basically means an issue with the network connection to the FortiGate.

Scope - FortiGate

Solution - If the SSL VPN is behind NAT it will fail at 10%. For this issue, it is necessary to do a port forwarding rule for the SSL VPN port and point it to the FortiGate WAN interface IP on your ISP modem
