Couldn't think where else to look or ask so thought I'd ask the lovely, well informed people on Edugeek...

 

Due to complicated reasons, I'll soon be leaving and rejoining Blueyonder.

 

Now I'd like the new TVDrive and thought I'll pay the £10 subscription by dropping from 10Mb to 4Mb.

On the website though under the list of comparisons between the two it only mentions newsgroups on the 10Mb connection.

 

Now without newsgroups I may as well have dialup!

 

Could anyone confirm that the 4Mb connection has free, unlimited access to the Newsgroups.

always had for me, i have had telewests cable since day dot and ive always had access to newsgroups, i tested their 2mbit services when they were piloting etc. If in doubt, phone them up.

 

Oh and doesnt TV Drive look so cool, 3 tuners and HDTV support i just need to find out if it supports HD over a HD15 connector...
