OLPTech Posted October 20, 2023 Posted October 20, 2023 Hi We use the Settings Page Visibility GPO to only certain settings to staff/students, however since installing the October 2023 update it doesn't appear to be applying properly to any of our sites. We have it to only show these settings: showonly:display;bluetooth;printers;pen;autoplay;taskbar;defaultapps;easeofaccess-mouse;keyboard However since the update the actual result only shows bluetooth, language and accessibility mouse settings. Just wondering if anyone who uses this GPO is experiencing the same thing. Thanks
ITGuyNW Posted October 20, 2023 Posted October 20, 2023 Yep. I had to resort to using "hide:" and do it that way instead. 1
ADMaster Posted October 25, 2023 Posted October 25, 2023 Yes, I have the same issue. Looking into it today because a teacher could not change her display settings. Duplicate / extend. I also had the simplify quick settings on. I like the idea of hiding all the extra stuff they don't need. However this also disabled the win+p menu. I reverted the simplify quick settings to fix her issue. I'm glad to know its not just me. 1
Julian Posted October 26, 2023 Posted October 26, 2023 Just to say this has also affected our school, and it is causing problems.
OLPTech Posted October 26, 2023 Author Posted October 26, 2023 Hopefully Microsoft will fix it in next months update, very frustrating
ADMaster Posted November 15, 2023 Posted November 15, 2023 This does appear to be fixed in the November update both 22H2 and 23H2. Only tested on one machine so far.
tri_94 Posted January 31, 2024 Posted January 31, 2024 Yep. I had to resort to using "hide:" and do it that way instead. Hi there Any chance a the list of what you used with the hide: as I've got the same issue. Thanks
