Just wondered if anyone is an Oxford Test Centre?

 

We have gone through the list of prerequisites and we meet/exceed all, except when it comes to supported browsers as we use Microsoft Edge. But despite being on latest version (117) they state that their system is not compatible with Microsoft Edge, and only supported on Google Chrome version 76 (released August 2019!!!) and Firefox version 87 (released March 2021!!!) upwards.

 

Microsoft Edge is Chromium based, so...???

It's the same engine basically. I just tell people Edge is Chrome (for most purposes) which seems to satisfy them. They won't have updated these specs since Edge moved over from the EdgeHTML engine.

Report them for accepting use of insecure browsers and never trust any technical thing they say, eg they'll store PII information securely
