Just about manageable for our 100 or so laptops, but for schools who have moved all devices to Intune for device management, with say 600 devices, are you really paying £15,600 a year JUST for Intune licensing? Maybe I am missing a trick here....

cheekycharly Posted September 26, 2023 Posted September 26, 2023 I scheduled a video chat with a Microsoft onboarding team member around six months ago, however it ultimately turned out to be a sales call and was fruitless. They wanted to know how many were teachers, so one of them said during the call, "I'm just looking at your tenant now and can see how many members you have in the tenant." I won't lie; I was astonished because I hadn't provided them the information about my tenant; they must have discovered it by looking up my name and the company name.

Mr.Ben Posted November 23, 2023 Posted November 23, 2023 The CHEST framework give us A3 users for about £45 per year, students free. It's EES agreement (rather than OVS) which means you can get device based licencing for Office (useful for staff that don't use IT that much). CHEST is fab as you don't have to have a minimum of 1000 users - we licence 740 ish, but you can licence less than 50!
