Ayaz Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 Hi, Does anyone know where I can get some free webspace from without any adverts? My ISP doesnt do webspace at the moment. I would need 5 MB, 10 MB max of space. Basically I am building a website and need somewhere to host it. Also, when I finally decide on a name for the site, who do I register that name with? Cheers for any help.
EduTech Posted July 13, 2008 Posted July 13, 2008 The Name of the site do you mean the domain? I have a few Sites that offer Free hosting with no adds i dig them out for you tomorrow Regards James.
kestrel1 Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Take a look through this list: Free Web Hosting - Page 1 You should find a suitable hosting package. You register a domain name with Nominet: Nominet UK but this is often done for you by a hosting company. This is not a free service however.
RichCowell Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 You register a domain name with Nominet but this is often done for you by a hosting company. This is not a free service however. Nominet charge a fortune to register with them - definitely better to get one registered elsewhere and have them forward it to your chosen ISP.
