Help with installing Windows on Staff laptop

Hi,

I`m after a bit of help with a problem I haveinstalling the OS on a staff laptop

The laptop was brought in with a corrupt OS and after a few fault finding steps it was decidedto re install the OS, upon doing this using a USB boot drive (Windows 10 22H2)when the setup comes to look for the internal SSD, it doesn’t show any.

In the BIOS it picks it up.

Wondering if this is a driver issue? Or a configuration change within the BIOS?

I've swapped the SSD

(M.2) with another but get the same problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

When you got to the bootable stage there’s an option to add drivers in, you’ll probably need something like the intel rapid/raid drivers etc depending on the M2

I've had this before and just needed to add the drivers into the boot drive.

I've seen what the other's have said and I've also seen (mainly in some Dell laptops) that you have to toggle a setting in the BIOS to switch the drives from RAID to AHCI or something similar...then it was detected in the Windows installer.

If it is not been picked up by Windows OS install then I'd defo be looking to see if I can get a driver on a USB and see what happens.

hi both Steve you got that spot on had one a few weeks back I had to in stall raid/raid drivers on the ssd to install windows first
