Loot, some SFP to gigabit RJ45 over ten years old but still useful.

 

 

I grabbed a fist full of these once and twice they have bailed me out

Just want to point out that if this didn't exist, I'd have to purchase the 48 port model for a few hundo more! or bought an additional 8 port switch

 

Let me hope that no one wants another device over there!

Flashbacks of Netgear 10/100 hubs (not even switches) banged in to share ports *shudder*

 

We had a large chunk of our infrastructure managed by hubs when I started. They got junked ASAP.

 

What you’ve done is ideal though. On some Cisco devices, they basically had those built in - you could use either SFP or RJ45 for two ports. Very handy.
