Loot, some SFP to gigabit RJ45 over ten years old but still useful.

I grabbed a fist full of these once and twice they have bailed me out :)

Just want to point out that if this didn't exist, I'd have to purchase the 48 port model for a few hundo more! or bought an additional 8 port switch :(

 

Let me hope that no one wants another device over there!

Flashbacks of Netgear 10/100 hubs (not even switches) banged in to share ports *shudder*

 

We had a large chunk of our infrastructure managed by hubs when I started. They got junked ASAP.

 

What you’ve done is ideal though. On some Cisco devices, they basically had those built in - you could use either SFP or RJ45 for two ports. Very handy.
