We've found this, too. I've heard a possible reason for it being that the water is hot enough for coffee but not properly hot enough for tea.

Possibly because it's an American brand (and to be fair their main is coffee, but you think they'd have understood a U.K. market might also like a cup of tea).

 

Talking of, try to get a decent cup of tea in the US of A...
