paulvernon63 Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 Mapped drives are set for our users by a script. For teaching staff it appears that two of those mapped drives are set to "always be available offline" but others (up to four for teaching users) are not. I thought this might be controlled by a Group Policy but can't see anywhere that individual mapped drives are controlled in such a way. Can anyone tell me where I can look, if there is a way to identify which GPOs might be responsible or how else they might be controlled like this? Thanks, Paul.
robjduk Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 Drive maps would be found in a GPO under User Configuration, Policies, Preferences, Windows Settings, Drive Maps. See if you have any GPO in their user accounts.
paulvernon63 Posted October 5, 2022 Author Posted October 5, 2022 Appreciate your reply. I seem to have been ablke to disable the setting for the mapped drive I was concerned about (it's huge) by resetting the offline files database by creating a FormatDatabase registry entry.
