Mapped drives are set for our users by a script. For teaching staff it appears that two of those mapped drives are set to "always be available offline" but others (up to four for teaching users) are not.

I thought this might be controlled by a Group Policy but can't see anywhere that individual mapped drives are controlled in such a way.

Can anyone tell me where I can look, if there is a way to identify which GPOs might be responsible or how else they might be controlled like this?

Thanks,

Paul.

Drive maps would be found in a GPO under User Configuration, Policies, Preferences, Windows Settings, Drive Maps. See if you have any GPO in their user accounts.

Appreciate your reply.

I seem to have been ablke to disable the setting for the mapped drive I was concerned about (it's huge) by resetting the offline files database by creating a FormatDatabase registry entry.
