neonetman Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 We are currently using Sims, and still use Capita's Active Directory Provisioning to create users, generate a pasword, and add them into the correct user groups (for email distributiuon lists etc.). This also allows us to automatically de-provision leaveers. The school are currently lookign at a move to Arbor for it's MIS system, hwoever I'm aware that Arbor cannot provision accounts directly to on-prem AD. Is anyone aware of an alternative solution to take data from Arbor and use it to provision accounts automatically on on-prem AD? This is the one major thorn in the side of the IT department surrounding this move. THanks in advance folks.

Primus Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 Salamander is ace, best thing we've ever bought!
RLR Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 Salamander is ace, best thing we've ever bought! Yep, and their pricing hasn't changed for years. Surprised they've never put it up!
Rob_D Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 We've been looking at https://locker.co.uk/ for our Teams management (and putting student timetables in outlook). It can do end to end user management from your MIS. 1
Primus Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 Across our MAT we've used both, Salamander were much better in our experience - nothing is too much trouble.
woodham Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 honestly just get Salamander it will do so much more than just create you accounts in Ad we have it doing that and provisioning all our office 365 /teams groups adding timetables etc its very very good
